Veena Malik received death threats

Lahore: Pakistani actress Veena Malik has received a "death threat" from a purported Taliban commander for appearing on the Indian reality TV show "Big Boss", her media manager said on Saturday.

"Self-styled Taliban commander Ahmed Masood issued the death threat in a hand-written letter sent to Veena for appearing on the Indian show," Sohail Rashid, her media manager, said.
"Veena is in India but she will not seek asylum there or in any other country on security grounds," Rashid said.

He dismissed speculation that the media was informed about the Taliban threat to garner "cheap publicity" for Veena.
Rashid said clerics in Pakistan had been criticising Veena since she appeared in Indian television shows, especially "Big Toss".

"This is not the first time she has received threats. Earlier she was given threats through SMS messages," he added. The authenticity of the letter could not immediately be verified.

Veena, 33, earned the ire of clerics and hardliners for her appearance in "Big Boss", during which she featured in several intimate scenes with actor Ashmit Patel.
Hardliners have accused her of shaming Pakistan.

The actress in currently in India to host the cricket World Cup show "Big Toss".
Veeena told the media that her security was a concern and the Pakistan government is responsible for protecting her and her family.

Noting that key personalities like Punjab Governor Salmaan Taseer had been assassinated by hardliners despite being provided security, Veena said her life and death was in God's hands.

Veena Malik had been threatened by the militant group Taliban

Veena Malik has ruffled many a feathers in the past, almost with nonchalance, but possibly even she didn't anticipate that she might end up offending one of the most dangerous Islamist militia groups, the Taliban. And the reason for this is, well, India.

The actress recently claimed that she had been threatened by the militant group Taliban. Malik apparently received a letter from Islamist group via a media house in Pakistan, the representatives of which confirmed the authenticity of the source, reported The Express Tribune.

The actress says the letter has been sent from a Ahmed Masood of the Taliban. The contents of the letter threaten to give Malik ‘exemplary punishment for her work in India’, she claims. In fact, the letter even threatens her family and Malik declared that if anything happened to them she would hold the government responsible.

The actress shot to the centre of controversy when she gave match-fixing evidence against her former beau cricketer Mohammed Asif. She then hit headlines with her intimacy with co-participant Ashmit Patel on Indian television show Bigg Boss.

She is currently in India appearing on television shows for the cricket World Cup and is reportedly getting security from Indian authorities. She will soon be informing the Pakistan authorities of the situation as well.

Rakhi accused of molesting a godman

Limelight moth Rakhi Sawant has now taken off on godmen and other saffron-clad religious individuals. In the course of her sojourn on a reality show in Delhi Rakhi who likes to be friendly with people from every walk of life, spread some extra warmth and sunshine on a Delhi-based godman Swami Aravind.

Apparently embrassed by the actress' PDA, the Swami accused Rakhi of “molesting” her.

Livid and somewhat rightly so, Rakhi lashes out, “People call me a publicity seeker. But in my experience those around me are far more publicity-hungry than I am. What can I say about this person, except that I am now used to people earning their bread at my expense.”

Rakhi takes off on the whole cult of godmen. “I think many of these self-declared godmen misuse the saffron robe. Hiding behind that attire they harbour all kinds of evil intentions.

We actresses are often accused of being cheap publicity-seekers. But at least we don't make spread poison in the garb of religion. We don't make a fool of the public. We are what we are.”

Rakhi's co-contestant on the reality-show is Veena Malik who is being labelled the Rakhi Sawant of Pakistan. Apparently there is no love lost between the two during the show and constant friction between them.

Rakhi turns surprisingly diplomatic over the issue. “We are not friends. But we are cordial with each other. If she is known as the Rakhi Sawant of Pakistan I'm happy for her. It isn't a small matter to be whom I am.”

Veena Malik is back, and this time, her dance number is possibly longer than her previous appearances on Bigg Boss.

Veena Malik is back in yet another Indian cricket-based reality TV show, ‘Bigg Toss’, and this time, her dance number is possibly longer than her previous appearances on Bigg Boss.

According to the video description, 12 contestants will be pitted against each other to “cash in on the World Cup fever” with the centre of attraction being “television hotties, Veena Malik and Bollywood item girl Rakhi Sawant.”

With such star power and a few more dance numbers, this show is likely to be yet another major hit. We can definitely expect thousands of eager, perhaps mortified Pakistanis to be scouring through YouTube for more clips of Malik as the show progresses.
Video rating: two thumbs way up for clubbing cricket, reality TV and starlets together.

Why Rakhi and Veena?

They wanted to be different, says Hemant Sharma, news editor of India TV, and that is why they came up with "Bigg Toss", which sees item girl Rakhi Sawant and Pakistani actress Veena Malik entertaining viewers by discussing cricketers in their unique style during the World Cup matches.

"Usually, during the World Cup matches, all the news channels organise discussions with four or five experts in the studio. This concept doesn't excite people anymore. We wanted to do something different so we zeroed in on this concept," Sharma told IANS.

"Bigg Toss", which went on air Feb 17, will be shown only when India is playing. It features 12 contestants divided into two groups who will choose their favourite player from the Indian team and bet on him. The group that scores the maximum points will be declared the winner of a Honda car.

Why Rakhi and Veena?
"Both of them can add a lot of drama to the show and people are interested in watching them on small screen," Sharma said.

Apart from Rakhi and Veena, the list of contestants includes cricketer Yuvraj Singh's father Yograj Singh, singers Shankar Sawhney and Ashok Masti, beautician Sylvie and RJ Simran, among others.

Veena Malik is back with a bang

LAHORE: After making headlines in the industry and creating ripples with heated debates on national television, Pakistani actor Veena Malik is back with a bang. The bold beauty has a keen interest in cricket off late and will now appear on not one, but two television shows on the cricket World Cup for Indian television.
In a show that will hit the small screen on February 19, Malik will serve as host with panelists Ketan Sharma and former Indian cricketer and national coach Anshuman Gaekwad. The programme will fall into a ‘crick-o-tainment’ slot and will discuss cricket and cricketers in a humorous way. It is likely that Bollywood celebrities will come on the show before and during important cricket matches including Salman Khan (the host of “Bigg Boss” Season 4).

While Sharma and Gaekwad will highlight the technicalities of the game, Veena Malik will bring spice and interest to the more colourful aspects of the cricketers.

The two panelists will serve on rotation while Malik will remain on the show throughout the World Cup.
“I have been a diehard cricket fan and follow the game religiously. I have been offered several projects but this is cricket season. I am taking my passion for the game into account which is why I have decided to do the show. I hope that my knowledge about the game and its players will attract my fans both in India and Pakistan,” said Veena Malik, who is currently in India.

A source disclosed that Malik has been given Rs10 million for hosting the show. Talking about her show she said, “This show will be a mixture of cricket and entertainment. I will also discuss famous love affairs of various cricketers,” said Malik.

When asked what team she would support Malik replied, “Of course I will support the Pakistani team in its matches. But I also have sympathies for the Indian team,”she added. When asked about the recent cricket debacle that has wrapped three Pakistani cricketers in a legal mess Malik says, “Salman Butt, Muhammad Amir and Muhammad Asif have disappointed cricket fans in Pakistan. I believe that if Asif has done something wrong then he should not only be banned, he ought to be jailed.”

Other than hosting a cricket show, She will also participate in a programme titled “Bigg Toss.” Some 14 contestants will all live in a villa, the contestants will be divided into two teams and choose the players of their choice. Based on the performance of their chosen players, the teams will be given marks — the team whose players perform well, will win the show.

The participants of the show include Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh’s father Yograj Singh Bundhel, Rakhi Sawant, radio Jockey Simran, Indian Punjabi pop singer Ashok Masti, model and TV anchor Divya Jaitley, former Delhi University student and union leader Amrita Dhawan, singer and guitarist Shanker Sawhney, Zoobi Doobi singer Zahid Nigam, Congress leader Mukesh Sharma, Haryana wrestler Sangram Singh, hairstylist Swlvie and MTV contestants Sakshi Bhayala and Shiva Devotee.

“The participants will also discuss their favourite players but according to the show’s format the participants can only choose Indian cricketers,” said Malik explaining the dynamics of the show.
While talking about her stay in India, Veena Malik said that she has a three-month visa for India and will most probably spend all this time in India.

Did Veena and Ashmit make love in Bigg Boss?

'Bigg Boss 4' has probably attracted the viewers for its controversial contestants and their constant controversial acts.

The most footage was offered by Bollywood actor Ashmit Patel and Pakistani actress Veena Malik, who went on showing their fondness for each other in front of everyone.

Now, it has been about two weeks when Bigg Boss announced its winner for the fourth season but the reality show is still making news for its controversial scenes.

Now, one of the ex-housemates of the show has revealed that the duo had done every possible thing to keep the camera on them.

The contestant added that the duo must have made love during their task to keep the 'diya' protected during Diwali.

The contestant on the condition of anonymity further added that the duo was seen cuddling inside the quilt and surely have gone to that extreme extent as they were left alone for the entire night there.

The person said that the probable couple made everyone feel uneasy with their public display of love often.

The contestant said that they could not properly sit along with them because of their disgusting behaviour. The person added that there was much more than casual hugging between them.

However, Ashmit Patel denied it saying that he would have loved to do that with Veena Malik but he never intended to that and it was not possible because of the constant glance of the cameras.

Well, we hope Ashmit is really speaking the truth!

'Cheap Veena Malik is denigrating Pakistani women'

Pakistani actress Meera is not happy with the way her fellow actress Veena Malik conducted herself on Colors' reality show "Bigg Boss 4" and accuses her of portraying Pakistani women in poor light.

"Veena Malik is acting very cheap. The way she presented herself in front of Indian audiences is not right. She is denigrating the image of Pakistani women. This is not how women in Pakistan are, " Meera, who is in India to shoot for diector Faizal Khan's Hindi movie "Om Allah", told in an interview.

Her liplocking courted controversy after people in Pakistan raised objections and she was apparently fined for this. But right now she feels Veena has crossed all limits.

"If you come over to Pakistan, you will see how sensible and how cultured Pakistani women are. They respect their family values and are not how Veena has portrayed herself, " said the actress who herself became
controversial after her kissing scene with with Ashmit Patel in her Bollywood debut "Nazar".
Veena came into limelight after her name popped up in match-fixing allegations against Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Asif. She was the cricketer's girlfriend. She then entered the "Bigg Boss" house and her intimacy with Bollywood actor Ashmit Patel caused quite a stir, sending the TRPs soaring.

Meera alleges Veena's behaviour is a lousy way to garner publicity.

"She's doing all this because she is hungry for fame. She has no self-respect and is ready to do anything to become famous, " Meera said.

"She's like that even in Pakistan. She tries to copy everyone. She can never be her own self. This is not the right thing to do as there are many other nice ways to become famous. Why stoop down to cheap tactics, " she asked.

Meera claims she was also approached to be a part of "Bigg Boss" twice, but she refused it.

"I was approached to be the part of the show before and even for this season but when I came to know that Veena will also be a part of it, I refused, " she said.

Apart from Veena, the fourth season of "Bigg Boss" featured well-known Pakistani cross-dresser Begum Nawazish Ali.

After "Nazar", Meera featured in another Bollywood moive "Kasak" with Lucky Ali.

After doing "Kasak" in 2005, this is Meera's first Bollywood movie in five years.

"After 'Kasak', I went back to Pakistan. Later my parents did not allow me to act here as I was too young and they thought I might just fall for someone here (India) and get settled permanently, " she said.

"Moreover, the tension between India and Pakistan also kept me away. But now I am back and hope to sign more Bollywood projects, " she said.

Back home, Meera has been actively involved in charity work and has been working with former cricketer Imran Khan to raise funds for Pakistan's flood-affected victims.

"We would like to rope in Rani Mukerji for helping us to raise funds for the flood-affected victims in Pakistan. I plan to meet her during my trip here, " she said.

She has also expressed a desire to do charity work with Salman Khan and his Being Human organisation.

Veena ‘Ki Jawani’ in ‘Bigg Boss’ grand finale

Veena Malik will perform on Tees Maar Khan’s popular song “Sheila Ke Jawani” in the grand finale for which the arrangements have been finalised, a source close to the actor told The Express Tribune. The administration of Colors TV, a private television channel that runs the reality show, has taken the decision to turn Veena Malik into “Sheila” of the mini screen since she was the most suitable contestant of the show to perform on the song, the source added. The song originally stars Katrina Kaif and is doing great on the charts.
While the rumour is abuzz, Malik and her manager Sohail Rashid have neither confirmed nor ruled out the possibility of Malik performing in the finale. “She has definitely been very popular during the show. She was nominated seven times to be evicted but the Indians voted for her six times which means she has a large fan following over there. Considering this fact, this it is quite possible that she’ll perform but I cannot confirm or rule it out [at the moment],” Rashid told The Express Tribune.

He further said that some negative rumours have been circulating about Malik but they were not true. “There is only one Indian website which is promoting false things to defame her. The activities of the contestants of “Bigg Boss” are recorded round the clock and the show’s duration is hardly an hour. So things are omitted and many things are being quoted out of context. She had been offering prayers in the house but nobody mentioned it. She discussed politics with her fellow contestants but few people ignored that and propagated her statements in a twisted way. The things that contestants did at the show were part of the game and the show must be taken as a game,” Rashid added.

Malik, who is currently in India, told The Express Tribune that false reports were being circulated about her, “I didn’t drop my towel before the camera. It’s just a rumour.” The actor said that the she was not intimate with any fellow contestant. She further said that she had been wearing shorts but the other contestants including Sara Khan and Anchal had done the same.

“She had been promoting the Urdu language at the house of ‘Bigg Boss’. A lot of people are using Urdu words in India just because of her. She promoted our language and did nothing wrong,” Malik’s manager said defending the actor.

Sameer Soni should apologise
Sameer Soni, another participant of “Bigg Boss”, who reportedly said he wanted to slap Malik when he and Dolly Bindra were talking about Malik after her eviction is being criticised for his comments. Someone has created a page titled ‘Sameer Soni Should Say Sorry to All Women of This World’ on Facebook and a lot of people are urging him to apologise for his comments.
Another interesting dialogue that is being forwarded through text messages and emails is a sentence spoken by Malik to Dolly Bindra: Aap Aurat Key Naam Par Ek Cartoon Ho (You are a cartoon in shape of women).

Dolly on the other hand called her ‘vulgar’.

Has Veena Malik ever acted in any porn movie ??..

It is learnt that Pakistani actress and model Veena Malik had posed nude in the past on more than one occasion. The first appearance of her nude photographs was in 2001, but Veena Malik had brushed off the images as though they were flies on a pancake.

“I have not posed for those photographs, and I am not bothered by them, ” she has confidently claimed at that time. A Pakistani sleaze magazine also mentioned that Veena Malik has acted in several soft porn movies at times either semi nude or completely nude.

By then Veena Malik was so used to such allegations of nude or porn movies, that she stopped replying to such accusations. The media too began to ignore her some of them felt that Veena Malik was herself behind all the photographs and videos ostensibly to keep herself in the news and on the front pages of publications.

Another Pakistani website claimed that Veena Malik has acted in hardcore porn movies in the West. After Veena Malik made it into Bigg Boss, Season 4 on Colors, hosted by Salman Khan, media both in India and Pakistan began taking interest in her all over again.

Meanwhile a hardcore sex porn video is in circulation, claiming that the video was shot by Veena Malik and a Dutch male porn star in 2010 just before she entered Bigg Boss and that Veena Malik was paid the equivalent of Rs 30 lakh for a half day hardcore sex shoot. We are not sure if this information is true, but apparently a 29-year-old male Dutch porn star has gone on record that he shot explicity sex scenes including those of penetrative sex with a Pakistani model whose name was Veena Malik.

The male porn star whose screen name is Melwin, has claimed in an interview to a Dutch tabloid that the model looked exactly like the one in the Reality Show on Colors – Bigg Boss, Season 4. As Veena Malik is still inside the Bigg Boss house, we have to wait till she gets out for her comments.

He has gone on record to say that the Pakistani model was very co-operative and wanted the video to be out in a few months. Maybe if it was the real Mc Coy, then Veena Malik was hoping that the video would be her ticket to fame and scandal, which would help her float easily through Bigg Boss without being eliminated or evicted.

All this information is unreliable and we leave it at that – gossip and hearsay. We have no way of authenticating all this information. We can’t go up to Veena Malik and ask her if she ever acted in any porn movies. Can we?

Veena Malik in Jism 2 ?

Actress turned filmmaker Pooja Bhatt has delivered one of the most sexiest Bollywood movies in 2003, Jism, starring Bipasha Basu and John Abraham. A perfectly in shape model John debuted in Bollywood with this movie and became a craze among the youth. The sizzling chemistry between Basu and Abraham rocked the viewers and the film was a roaring hit.

There were talks regarding a sequel of this movie earlier but nothing materialized. It is probably because they could not bring John and Bips together anymore for repeating their seductive act. Now again, the talks are rife about Jism 2 and Pooja Bhatt is seriously thinking about the lead cast, who can replace the hot couple.

There was a buzz that Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez of Aladin fame has been approached to enact the leading lady. But this did not go well with the Jism and they openly expressed their displeasure over her name on a microblogging site. Pooja Bhatt also rubbished reports saying that they never thought of Jacqueline.

However, fans have suggested a very good option for Jism 2. Most of them have suggested the name of Pakistani actress Veena Malik, who has been popular in Bigg Boss 4 for her sizzling acts with inmate Bollywood actor Ashmit Patel.

Their proximity on camera has grabbed many eyeballs and is being considered as perfect couple to replace Bipasha and John. However, Veena is quite far from a perfect figure when it comes to play a seductress in a movie like Jism 2. If she is considered seriously then she will require losing some extra kilos that she keeps showing frequently.

However, Ashmit is quite good in shape and has been seen working out with Hrishant Goswami earlier. But recently, he is behaving like a sick person and does not look to be in a very good shape. However, he can enact the role perfectly because Ashmit is often seen drooling over Veena and that is very much required for the role!

The party’s just started

Model Hrishant Goswami , who was ousted from the Bigg Boss house on Friday, says he is glad he’s out. “There was no alcohol in the house and I couldn’t sleep enough because we couldn’t sleep in the day time,” he says.

Goswami, who was the object of Pakistani actor Veena Malik’s affection, says he only saw her as a “good friend”. “We started off with our share of fights, but she ended up liking me. For me, it is only friendship. I want to focus on my career,” he says. While he maintains that he did not get attracted to any woman in the house, he admits, “I got to meet Pamela Anderson, which was great. And, of course, I liked Kareena when she entered the house ... but that’s it!”

Goswami is now looking forward to having a blast with actor Ashmit Patel, who he befriended in the house. “We are going to meet up and have a blast together; our camaraderie was for real,” he says. Asked who, according to him, is the most clever person inside the house, Goswami says, “Manoj Tiwari. He is a true politician.”

Veena Malik loves Hrishant!

Ask actor Ashmit Patel in celebrity reality show Big Boss 4. He moved on from tele star Sara Khan to Pak beauty Veena Malik and now Veena says that she likes model Hrishant Goswami.

What an insult!

Veena first woos Ashmit and then tells him to go and tell Hrishant that she loves him.

Hrishant is the winner of 2004 Gladrags Manhunt. He has been quietly scoring some 283 points and is an average player in the Big Boss.

He is a perfect goat for Veena, who is desperate to stay put in Big Boss.

Meanwhile, actor Dolly Bindra has asked Veena to open her heart to the man Veena says she 'currently' loves.

But Hrishant does not want to be in cross-border love affair.

He says that Veena is 'cute' but he is 'not interested'.

May be, he is once slapped and twice shy...if viewers remember!

Bigg Boss 4: Veena Malik attacks Ashmit Patel

After placing match-fixing allegations on ex-boyfriend and Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Asif and unceremoniously dragging Bollywood actress Neetu Chandra's name in the international cricket scandal, Pakistani starlet Veena Malik seems to have surprisingly turned her attention towards Bigg Boss co-participant Ashmit Patel this week.

Ashmit, a favourite with girls on the reality show, has currently been given a kitchen task of cleaning dishes in the Bigg Boss House. But when he stressed on cleanliness of utensils, out of the blue, Veena suddenly lashed out at him.

"Aap ko bahut shaq hai baat karne ka, aur main yahan pe relax kar rahi hoon... Go.... Apna kaam karo... mujhpe ehsaan kar rahe ho kya."

When Ashmit started to leave the argument, saying he's going for a workout, Veena shouted at him again, "Meri bala se workout karo... I don't care," she shot and added, "Jhoothe bartan dhota hai, toh khana bhi toh khata hai."

From the looks of it, Veena gives more significance to tiffs over emotions of the co-participants on the show.

Ashmit's publicist Dale Bhagwagar agrees. "Veena is just a drama queen. She talks about tehzeeb and integrity, but seems to do everything for effect," he remarked.

Undoubtedly, Veena's attention-seeking antics are questionable, but the irony is that such cocky behaviour has also come to be known as a necessary evil for reality shows, so it has to be tolerated by the other participants.

"Ashmit is a responsible person. He might get upset on the spur of the moment, but I'm sure he will get over this volley of words and bounce back with dignity," Bhagwagar added.

It will be interesting to watch how far Veena's 'stings' will take her on Bigg Boss. As far as the viewers are concerned, they seem to be lapping up every bit of the drama, as much as they are enjoying host Salman Khan's dabangg moves and jibes.

Bigg Boss 4 - a pot full of controversial names

The line-up of contestants for "Bigg Boss 4" has a Pakistani terrorist's former lawyer, a thief-turned-detective, a former dacoit, a Pakistani cross-dresser and others. It's no wonder Colors chose Bollywood star Salman Khan to host the reality show, where controversy seems to be the ticket for entry.

It seems the "Bigg Boss 4" house in Lonavala, at the outskirts of Mumbai, might end up being quite a pot full of controversies this year with inmates like Mumbai terror attack accused Mohammad Ajmal Kasab's former lawyer Abbas Kazmi; thief-turned-detective Devinder Singh alias Superchor Bunty; actor Ashmit Patel, who was involved in an MMS scandal; and Rahul Bhatt, who was friends with David Headley, accused of scouting targets for Mumbai attack.

There will be fireworks in the house with former woman bandit Seema Parihar, who had allegedly killed 70 people and abducted over 200 before surrendering to the police a few years ago, joining others.

Some controversial names from across the border like Pakistani actress and former girlfriend of fast bowler Mohammed Asif, Veena Malik, and Pakistani cross-dressing diva Begum Nawazish Ali will also spice up the reality show, especially when they will be sharing the same house.

The show's glamour quotient will shoot up with TV actresses like Shweta Tiwari and Sara Khan, former MTV Splitsvilla contestant Sakshi Pradhan and model Aanchal Kumar. Also, joining the inmates will be Bhojpuri superstar Manoj Tiwari, model-turned-actor Sameer Soni and model Hrishant Goswami.

The 14 participants will be spending three months sans any communication with the outside world. They will clean wash rooms, will wake up early morning and survive on limited food.

The participants are not allowed to carry mobile phones and there will be no clock in the house which will be constantly under surveillance of about 50 cameras.

As compared to the earlier editions of the show, the set up of the house has been changed along with some rules. There will be no walls, no separate bedrooms for male and female contestants respectively and there will be cameras and microphones in wash rooms.

The colour scheme is brighter with yellow being the dominant shade of the interiors.

Every week a participant will be eliminated, and the one who survives till the end will be the winner.

The launch episode of the season saw a melange of participants taken on a guided tour of the house by Salman, who even performed later on songs from his hits "Dabangg" and "Wanted".

The contestants for the fourth season put up sizzling performances before entering the "Bigg Boss" house.

"Bigg Boss 3" winner Vindu Dara Singh and former contestants like Ravi Kishan, Bakhtiyaar and Tanaaz Currim, comedian Raju Srivatsav, were also present at the launch, and some like Kashmera Shah and Sambhavana Seth even performed.

Veena Malik attacks Neetu Chandra

As if tossing baseless allegations and falsely claiming that actress Neetu Chandra is involved in the international match-fixing scandal wasn't enough, Veena Malik, a starlet based in Pakistan, is now hurling more accusations at the Bollywood actress, this time from Indian turf.

Veena recently made headlines by claiming that her ex-boyfriend; Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Asif and his team-mates Salman Butt and Mohammed Aamer were involved in spot-fixing in the series against England.

While the Interpol and Scotland Yard are reported to be investigating the matter, Veena came up with fresh allegations that Bollywood actress Neetu Chandra had a relationship with the tainted Asif. She further declared that Neetu had a hand in the match-fixing scandal which has taken the cricketing world by storm.

“I saw her number flash on Asif's cellphone many times; that's what I told the investigators, ” mentioned Veena in an interview to a newspaper just before entering the Bigg Boss House in Lonavala.

Neetu Chandra's publicist Dale Bhagwagar, who has repeatedly denied and rubbished all of Veena Malik's claims, was quick to react, “Neetu has no connection with either match-fixing, Mohammad Asif or any Pakistani cricketer. She is not even a cricket fan and has never ever watched a complete cricket match.”

Meanwhile, Veena's speculatory claims about Neetu are putting a big question mark on the credibility of her scandalous statements. “Whatever Veena Malik says in Bigg Boss too should be taken with a pinch of salt. It seems, she says things for effect and to attract attention of gullible audiences, ” remarked the celebrity publicist.

When asked why Veena could be continuously dragging Neetu's name in the cricket scandal, Bhagwagar said, “It remains a mystery we'd ourselves like to solve. Veena has earlier stated that she has Bollywood dreams.

Media mileage in India is the only reason we can suspect as of now. What we don't understand is why Veena has without cause picked Neetu for it!”

Asif's ex Veena Malik on Bigg Boss 4?

Pakistani Spot-fixer Mohammed Asif's ex-girlfriend is believed to be next inmate in the upcoming edition of Bigg Boss and she has a few demands as well!

This season of Bigg Boss definitely seems to be all about controversial celebrities and the latest to join the bandwagon is cricketer Mohammed Asif's nemesis, his ex-girlfriend Veena Malik.

The Pakistani model, who shot to fame with evidence of her ex-boyfriend's involvement in match-fixing, has now come in the news for allegedly joining the reality show, reported Mumbai Mirror.

The channel had been eyeing her as a prime contestant for the popular reality show ever since the scandal exploded, sources told the tabloid.

Malik, who believes Indian men are no match for "good-looking Pakistani men" was initially dismissive about the show but apparently warmed up to the idea and was eventually quite excited about it as well.

The model has been so much in the limelight due to the controversy she generated that it makes her a prime candidate for the reality show, feel social media enthusiasts. Bigg Boss which puts controversial celebrities, wannabes, and have-beens under 24x7 surveillance in a locked house is also likely to gain tremendously from Malik.

Convincing Malik was not difficult, say sources, though she did try to play the diva. She insisted that the production team choose the other 13 contestants carefully, "So that they are up to my level," she allegedly told the team.

Negotiations with Malik barely took a day to wind up and the production team has worked out the logistics for her passage to India.

Malik, however has denied being offered the role but has said that she is considering offers for Bollywood films and that she will be making an official announcement soon.

It's Neetu Chandra v/s publicity hungry Veena Malik

Bollywood actress Neetu Chandra's publicist Wednesday rubbished Pakistani bowler Mohammad Asif's ex-girlfriend Veena Malik's claims that the Indian actress has links with the cricketer, now embroiled in a match-fixing controversy. Veena, however, claimed Neetu was lying.

"Without any concrete evidence, Ms. Malik is going on and on talking about how she thinks Neetu Chandra is involved with Mohammad Asif. She is probably doing this for publicity, as we've heard that she herself has Bollywood dreams, " Neetu's publicist Dale Bhagwagar told reporters here.

"If that is the case, then this is a cheap way to bag mileage, as in the process, Ms. Malik is maligning the name and reputation of an established and critically acclaimed actress, " he said.

But Veena, an actress and TV host in Pakistan, told an Indian news channel: "I can assure one thing - the telephonic details I've provided... those are authentic. At the first place that actress is saying, 'I don't even know who Asif is?' The mysterious part is that why she is denying the proof.

"I don't know how frequent they were calling each other but yes I have seen this number a couple of times and I asked Asif and he said, 'she is an actress and she is a fan of mine...', " she said.

Neetu, who has starred in films like "Traffic Signal" and "Garam Masala", allegedly got embroiled in the scandal when Interpol and Scotland Yard handed over Asif's mobile phone details to the Pakistan Cricket Board for investigation.

The document, which has now been leaked, was prepared by Scotland Yard and Interpol on the basis of information given by Veena Malik and it contains the call details of Asif made in 2009.

According to reports, the only mobile phone number from Mumbai recorded in the document belonged to actress Neetu Chandra.

The document also reportedly says that Neetu had made two phone calls and exchanged SMS with the controversial cricketer, discussing sensitive cricket issues and deals.

Said Bhagwagar: "Neetu is flummoxed about how her cell number has featured on such a scandalous list. She believes this could be a conspiracy."

He also denied that Neetu was interrogated by the Anti-Corruption and Security Unit (ACSU) of the International Cricket Council (ICC) for having links with Asif as reported.

"The reports about Neetu being interrogated by Anti-Corruption and Security Unit of ICC are incorrect and baseless, " said Bhagwagar.

"Neither does Neetu know Mohammad Asif, nor has she been to Indian Premier League (IPL) parties or events as reported. Her name is unnecessarily being dragged in the match-fixing debate with unfounded allegations, " he said.
