Priyanka Chopra's 'ex-boyfriends attend same party'

Shahid Kapoor and Harman Baweja are said to have avoided each other at a recent birthday party in Mumbai.

The actors, who have both been linked to former Miss World Priyanka Chopra, are said to have once been close friends, Mumbai Mirror reports.

A source told the tabloid: "Almost everybody was looking at them to see their reactions towards each other. One kept wondering if they would get into a conversation and, if so, what would transpire consequently."

Baweja, who appeared with Chopra in his debut film Love Story 2050, and What's Your Raashee?, recently commented on the star's developing relationship with her Kaminey co-star.

"It was hard to see her talk on the phone and text. I knew what was happening," said Baweja. "I just didn't want to see Kaminey.

"I thought I would be okay, but as the day kept coming nearer, it was all around and therefore harder to bear. I just booked tickets and left the country."

Chopra dropped after film flop?

Priyanka Chopra is reportedly no longer the front-runner for a new project after the disappointing box-office performance of 7 Khoon Maaf.

The actress was said to be the favourite for director Vishal Bhardwaj's planned adaptation of the best-selling Indian novel 2 States, Mumbai Mirror reports.

However, a source told the paper: "It is now a toss-up mainly between Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, the latter having a slight edge. It might even be... Deepika Padukone or Asin, but it certainly won't be Priyanka."

Bhardwaj directed Chopra in her hit Kaminey which also starred her then-boyfriend Shahid Kapoor.

Bollywood stars are self-obsessed

Kangana Ranaut has accused fellow Bollywood stars of being self-obsessed.
The actress's next big film will be the ensemble action movie Game, also starring Abhishek Bachchan and Jimmy Shergill.

In an interview with the Times of India, she said: "I could never develop friends in this industry. I don't like filmi life.
"Most people are self-obsessed here and can't have a good conversation."
She also denied that she had been asked to leave after gatecrashing a party organised by Salman Khan.

Priyanka Chopra meets Lady GaGa in NY

Priyanka Chopra has praised Lady GaGa following a backstage meeting at the singer's Madison Square Garden concert.

According to Hindustan Times, the former Miss World has announced that she is a fan of the controversial performer.
Chopra told Desi Hits : "I like her tracks 'Poker Face', 'Bad Romance' and 'Drag Queen', so it was great to see her perform."
The Dostana actress also commented on the way the musician reached out to her followers.

"I loved the way she connected with her fans, people really connected with her and her message 'Be proud of who you are'. It's a great message," said the 28-year-old.
On her last visit to the UK, Chopra posted on Twitter that she had attended a Tinie Tempah gig.

Chopra abandons 'Bride Wars'?

Priyanka Chopra may no longer be attached to the troubled Indian remake of Bride Wars.

The project has been reportedly delayed following Katrina Kaif's earlier decision to drop out of the project because Chopra was touted for the opposite role.

Director Shristi Aya told Mumbai Mirror: "That film is all up in the air now. After Manish passed away I have been trying to get a new director.

"He or she will be finalised in the next two weeks. So the film is definitely going to happen. Let things fall into place."

However, he added that Chopra's role is uncertain as she does not have gaps in her schedule for the "next two years".

Tax officials raid at houses of Katrina, Priyanka

Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif might have ruled Bollywood last year but that is going to disturb their peaceful life this year. This Monday morning started with a shocking event for both these leading ladies of Bollywood. Income Tax department officials have started raid at the residential and office premise of both the actresses this morning.

The reports suggest that the officials are still conducting the raids. They have started it under some information and it has reportedly come from some credible sources. There is a speculation that the I.T department has got some tax evasion reports by these two actresses. However, nothing has been confirmed officially yet.

The two hottest properties of Bollywood have earned quite a big amount last year from their various endorsement deals apart from the movies. The I.T officials have also not denied about the chances of the actresses possessing some unreported wealth. If these cases come true then the financial managers of Priyanka and Katrina might also face I.T wrath.

However, it will be too early to draw conclusion on this issue. So let's wait till any official announcement is made from the I.T department.

We hope, the actresses come clean because they have many promising releases in the coming days and fans would not like to see them under any blemish at this point of time.

Priyanka Chopra 'refuses kissing scene'

Priyanka Chopra has reportedly refused to film a kissing scene with Annu Kapoor in Saath Khoon Maaf.
The Fashion star felt that the age distance between her and Kapoor was too great, reports Hindustan Times.

Kapoor explained to the newspaper: "Priyanka had certain reservations. Her reasoning was that I'm her father's friend and quite elder to her."

The actress does however share a screen kiss with her former Dostana co-star John Abraham in the Vishal Bhardwaj project.

Speaking about Chopra's reservations, the actor said that as a professional actor it is important to deliver the best shot.

"I'm not bothered whether it's Priyanka Chopra or Meryl Streep," he added.

The Challenging Role In 'Saat Khoon Maaf'

Priyanka Chopra ,the hot shot gal in tinsel town who has the big project 'Saat Khoon Maaf',a Vishal Bharadwaj flick amongst her upcoming projects has done considerably well in the movie as the woman who marries seven different men, killing them one after the other.

The movie has her in a very different role of an ambitious lady who aspires to be quite independent in her thoughts and actions. There have been reports of Priyanka saying that this film has been one of the toughest ever for her in terms of performance.

After following her on Twitter, Priyanka Chopra's fans can now get a sneak peek into her world through a voice blog, voice chats and an official YouTube channel, but no "personal" talk please, the actress says and adds she is looking forward to constructive criticism of her work and style.

The Bollywood actress started the Twitter craze by being one of the first celebrities to join the microblogging site. Now she has gone a step further to make her presence felt in the online world.

The 28-year-old signed an agreement with UTV Interactive to launch her voice blog, voice chats and an official YouTube channel. The launch was on Wednesday.

"I think it's high time that I became confident enough to say that this is me and see if you want to. People have just seen me on the big screen, but there I'm playing a character, I'm never myself. But here, it's me, it's everything that I am as a person, " Priyanka told in an interview.

"I can talk about stuff that happened behind the scenes, on the sets, backstage or at my place, just talking about things that I find interesting. It's a way of making people know the real me, " she added.

However, she stresses she will blog only about things she wants to say and not about her relationships and love life.

"I won't reveal everything about myself. That's the most amazing part about interacting. I can say what I want to say, but one thing that I haven't done and never will is talking about my personal life. That is something I don't believe in talking about, " Priyanka maintained.

And any fear of rude or vulgar responses?

"If someone is being rude or vulgar, I can block him. But if it's criticism, I'm very open to it. If there is someone who tells me that I didn't like your performance or your hair, I'll ask them why. I'm interested in knowing what their perception of me is, " she said.

"As actors, we are constantly in a place surrounded by people who just praise you; so it's lovely to have people around you who give you a reality check, " added the actress who has starred in hits like "Aitraaz", "Dostana", "Fashion" and "Kaminey".

Asked how she balances her personal and professional life, after being a part of so many ventures, the actress said: "You've got to make time for it. Personal life, for me, is my family and friends.

I love what I do and I've never faced a conflict between my personal and professional life, and the day I do I'll learn to balance it. But at the moment, since I've not faced a conflict I'm sure it's balanced."

"I'm good at multi-tasking, " explains Priyanka blithely.

Priyanka, who was last seen in "Anjaana Anjaani" opposite Ranbir Kapoor, has films like "Saat Khoon Maaf", "Don 2" and "Silence" lined up for release.

Priyanka Chopra gets a nose job done

Priyanka Chopra walked the ramp for Salman's Being Human show on Saturday. At the event, her visage was under the scanner as her nose definitely looked different yet again!

Speculation was that the actress had gone under the knife. There was buzz that PC's recent trip to London was to fix her nose that has been causing her grief for the past few years.

A source reveals, "Priyanka has always been unhappy with the way her nose looks. In the past too, she has tried to get a defined sharp features. However, this time the effects are more visible than before.

She felt her nose needed to be sharper as it would enhance her features. Though details of where she got it done aren't known, she's happy with the result."

Priyanka Chopra is the most 'Kissable' hottie

'Desi girl' Priyanka Chopra has beaten off competition from fellow Bollywood beauties Aishwarya Rai and Kareena Kapoor to bag the title of the most kissable star.

The 28-year-old actress who became an instant pin-up with her turn in a gold bikini for Dostana topped the survey conducted by men's magazine Fantasy.

"It was a close run but Priyanka Chopra's bee-stung lips made her a perfect candidate to top this list, " said the magazine about the winning candidate. Aishwarya who is riding high with the success of Rajinikanth starrer Robot came second while Kareena Kapoor grabbed the third spot.

Bollywood's favourite Bengali beauty Bipasha Basu came fourth and Katrina Kaif rounded off the top five. 'Aisha' star Sonam Kapoor occupied the sixth spot and Mallika Hiss Sherawat was the seventh entry on the list. Deepika Padukone, Genelia D'Souza and Asin rounded off the top ten.

Chopra does not fancy Brazilian men'

Priyanka Chopra has revealed that she doesn't fancy Brazilian men because they are too forward.

The actress was apparently pursued by a wealthy Rio De Janeiro businessman while she filmed her reality show Fear Factor in the city.

"Brazilian men turned out to be a little too upfront for me. They don't waste time in making their moves," Chopra told Real Bollywood.

"This guy didn't ask me out. He asked me to marry him right away. I don't think I am interested in marrying any foreigners. Only an Indian guy for me, thanks.

"I was bronzed and tanned and dressed rather Brazilian. Maybe they mistook me for a local girl."

Aishwarya Rai and Bipasha Basu also reportedly received unwanted male attention when they shot Dhoom 2 in Rio.

Priyanka Chopra's wish fulfilled

The release of Ranbir Kapoor-Priyanka Chopra starrer Anjaana Anjaani has been postponed from September 24 to October 1 in view of the verdict in the Ayodhya case, due the same day.

"At first I was in a position where I needed to go ahead with the release on the slated date. However, there is no denying that the Ayodhya isssue is much bigger and needs respect," producer Sajid Nadiadwala, of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt. Ltd, told reporters here at the Mehboob Studios.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film has been co-produced by Eros International.

"Ranbir had addressed the issue to me and Eros and we gave it much thought. Ranbir is, of course, one of the most looked upon youth icons of our time and his point was a much sensitised and valid one.

"After having mutually discussed it with Eros, we have decided to release the film Oct 1. The film is a very happy one and celebrates life, hence releasing it on a peaceful day would be preferred. I am sure people's good wishes are with us," he added.

Giving her nod to the decision, Priyanka said: "This was our wish that the date should be postponed. I think it is the matter of principle. Whatever happens, we should go through this day in a very peaceful way. It is a very important day for India and we should all be together to give the day its deserving importance."

Adds Ranbir: "Well, I hope whatever be the verdict, peace be maintained. That was a nightmare for us. The verdict shouldn't be biased and should be in favour of all Indians."

Chopra and Kumar to reunite on stage

Priyanka Chopra is to perform with Akshay Kumar on stage for the first time in six years after rumours they were romantically involved.

The Kaminey star's former secretary claimed that the actress was having an affair with Andaaz co-star Kumar.

His wife Twinkle reportedly banned him from working with Chopra again.

However, the two Bollywood stars will seen on stage again in Las Vegas, dancing alongside Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif.

On the rumoured relationship, Chopra told Indiaglitz in 2004: "It's always wonderful working with Akki. I respect him, and there's nothing beyond that."
