She's approaching a fashion fortune worth $1 Billion and Jessica Simpson is talking about her line of clothing, jewelry and purses that is making her more money than she ever thought possible.

"I never thought I’d be some fashion mogul!,” Jess says. “I put everything in the line and then it just blows out,” she says. “We try not to set trends, but you need your trending pieces in every delivery. but those go fast: what you really need is your basics for every type of person. when it comes to other celebrity brands, I think a lot of people do a great job, but it can’t be all about them. Everybody doesn’t want to just look like the celebrity, because they can’t. they just want one element of that style.”

Industy insiders say that Jessica's success has been that she hasn't targeted a snob audience, her business manager David Levin says. "A girl could go to the shopping mall with her mother and she’d have a great new outfit and still have some money left for lunch at McDonald’s. she can look like Jessica Simpson, smell like Jessica Simpson, and she can afford it.”

Critics are a little skeptical about the marriage. In a bid to sound normal and happy Jessica Simpson got engaged to one time NFL player Eric Johnson. He last played for the New Orleans Saints back in 2008. Johnson split from his wife earlier this year, filing for divorce in February 2010. Jessica and Eric began dating in May this year.

The question which plagues us all is - Did Jessica Simpson get engaged because her ex-husband did? Rumors suggest that she is still not over Nick and is in a state of depression. People close to Jessica are reported to be a little worried as she is going for a marriage that too without a pre-nup agreement.

Johnson is a former NFL player, the operative word is “former” meaning he no longer receives a paycheck from the National Footbal League. Reportedly, he doesn’t have a job, save following Jessica around and keeping her company.

Perhaps she’ll give him a job and put him on the payroll. But anyhoo back to the subject of who paid for the ring.Some say that Jessica did, seeing that Johnson doesn’t have a job. There is some talk that perhaps Johnson’s family paid for it, considering the fact that they are reportedly pretty wealthy.

No one is saying of course who forked over the money for the ring. Perhaps Jessica will release a statement via her publicist but probably not.

Jessica Simpson Engaged To Ex-Footballer

Jessica Simpson has reportedly gotten engaged to her boyfriend, Eric Johnson. Eric Johnson is the ex-footballer player who some in Simpson’s camp have been weary of. There are some who believe that he is after Simpson for her money.Supposedly, he is even the cause of the split between Jessica and her long-time hair stylist,Ken Paves.

This announcement comes after news broke that Jessica’s ex, Nick Lachey asked his girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo to marry him. There were some mumblings that Jessica was a bit jealous, but no confirmation.

Well, whatever the case, now, it looks like it will be her turn. This would be the second marriage for both. Johnson’s five year marriage was just finalized and Simpson has been divorced from former husband, Nick Lachey, since 2006.

The marriage ended on a sour note with both of the ex’es moving on pretty quickly but it isn’t until now that either had been talking marriage. I hope for the best for both of them. However, deep down, I hope they get back together. I think that they’re right for each other.

Nick Lachey Finally Moves On: Gets Engaged

Nick Lachey, former boy band member and ex-husband of Jessica Simpson, asked his long-time love, Vanessa Minnillo to get married. She accepted and since, has been sporting a pretty sick (meaning beautiful) ring on her all-important finger.

This is seemingly a huge step for Lachey, considering his heartbreak after he and Jessica broke up. Between the two, Nick has been more stable in the romance department. While he dated a bevyy of beauties, including maybe Kim Kardashian, he has been with Vanessa pretty steadily.

Jessica, on the other hand has had lots of high-profile “romances,” almost always ending in heartbreak, for her. I don’t know but I think she made a big mistake when she left Nick. He seemed to really love her. Since then, it sees that she has only found guys who wanted to bed her not wed her like Nick did.

Anyhoo, congrats to Nick and Vanessa. Hopefully, Jessica can find a good guy who wants to do right by her and get married. The new guy, the ex-football player, doesn’t look promising considering he just got divorced and none of her friends like him.

Jessica Simpson has reportedly been dumped by her long time stylist, Ken Paves. The duo had been essentially inseparable for the last few years.

He became more then her hair dresser. He also became her best friend picking up the pieces after her string of failed relationships.

Well, it looks like he is tired of the arrangement. Supposedly, he was fed up with Simpson’s pattern of falling hard for a guy, ignoring him and then coming back around after things go south.

Though the two have separated personally, there is no word on whether or not they will be breaking up professionally. The two developed a line of hair extensions together. Poor Jessica! I so hope that her and Nick get back together. I still think that he is the “one.”

Jessica Simpson and BFF Ken Paves On The Outs?

Rumor has it that Jessica Simpson and her hairdresser/best friend, Ken Paves, are on the outs. Once totally inseparable, today, they’re on the outs, at least for now.

Ken Paves was not only Simpsons best friend but he was also her hairdresser. He made sure that her hair always looked great. Not sure on who will step in and fulfill that role.

Well, according to someone close to the situation, the split is a result of a pretty serious fight between the two. No one quite knows (or at least they aren’t telling) what the fight was about. However, the “insider” has revealed that the cause of the fight was something minor.

Simpson is supposedly crushed over the “break up” and wants to talk to Ken. He’s, however, not budging. He even opted out of her 30th birthday part after she graciously invited him.

Paves seems to not have only gotten over the blow-out and Jessica as well. He even recently took to Twitter to announce that Eva Longoria is now his best friend. Wow, that sounds petty. The two seem to be fighting like 12-year old girls. Hopefully, they will get it together, kiss and makeup. Life is too short and friends are too precious.

For his part, Paves denies that there is a riff. He has gone on record to say that he is still close to Jessica and her family. He claims that both him and Jessica have been so busy that they haven’t been able to see each other. Hmm, sounds a bit suspicious. They were always able to make time before. I wonder what’s really up.

Jessica Simpson feels men imagine undressing her after ex-boyfriend John Mayer compared her to “sexual napalm” in an interview.

She revealed that she felt uncomfortable when she is in public.
“I`ll walk into a restaurant and I feel like men are looking at me. I feel like they`re undressing me,” the New York Daily News quoted her as saying on ‘The View’.

Simpson refused to forgive him and dismissed Mayer’s apology by saying “He`ll never have this napalm again!
