Richards, who starred in Starship Troopers and Wild Things, has signed a publishing deal with Gallery Books, People reports.
The book will reportedly cover the 39-year-old's life in Hollywood, including her marriage to
Two and a Half Men star Charlie Sheen and their subsequent acrimonious divorce.
Richards said of the project: "I wanted to write a heartfelt, honest book that would be a source of
hope for others going through difficult times."
