Hendricks's 'Playboy' past revealed

Mad Men star Christina Hendricks posed for Playboy early in her career, the publication has revealed.

The curvaceous 35-year-old's raunchy past was exposed on the magazine's Twitter page, when a representative uploaded an image of her posing with two other models in silver bikinis and blonde wigs from a past edition.

The unknown poster asked on their profile: "Who is the famous actress in this photo from the July 1999 issue? For those who guessed Christina Hendricks from Mad Men, way to go! She's on the right and helped illustrate an article on summer shooters."

WENN writes that in one "bizarre" shot, Hendricks can be seen "straddling a heavily-tanned man in small swimming shorts, while a wild-haired clown appears in the background".

Hendricks recently declared that she is "thrilled" to be seen as a sex symbol.

Christina Hendricks has revealed that she would love to play Wonder Woman.

The 'Mad Men' star has revealed that she would like to try the skin tight lycra outfit of the sexy superheroine.

Although the 35-year-old actress quashed speculation that she has been offered the role she was quick to outline that she would be eager to take it on.

"I heard that rumour too - I don't know where it got started but I love it!," the Daily Mail quoted her telling in a U.S. chat show.

"I''ve been wanting to wear that outfit my whole life! I''d love to [do it]. That would be such fun! Let''s put it out there!" she said.

Okay, so maybe Esquire shoved their foot in their ass by giving Minka Kelly the “Sexiest Woman Alive” award instead of Christina. But it don’t matter because now Christina is the cover girl for the November issue of Harper’s Bazaar! As usual, she’s posing against a red-colored background and, this time, there is NO freaky-deaky Photoshopping going on with her face!

In the issue, Christina talks about her life as it is now. She pretty much exclaims that her body and curves are the reason she’s gotten so much attention (“I was surprised, because it wasn’t something I was focused on“), how women and gay men constantly hit on her (“My husband thinks its so odd…“), and what she used to do in her past life (she was a former model).
Of course, the biggest surprise of the article is how Christina met a certain model in the mid-90′s in Milan who was having difficulty getting cast into runway shows. The model asked about Christina’s hair color and she gave her the secret. Believe it or not, after that chance meeting, that particular model would instantly become the most-sought after model in the world!

“It was Karen Elson. A couple of weeks later, she had bright-red hair…..Then I saw her on the cover of Italian Vogue, and the rest is history! Sorry, Karen, but you did ask about my hair color!”
