Charlotte Church has said that she pities the Queen.
The Welsh singer told Esquire that she has met the monarch several times and feels "really sorry for her".
Church explained: "I've met her about seven times and she never remembers me. When you get close to her you realise she's an old woman and has no idea what's going on.
"I feel really sorry for her. She probably doesn't want to be wheeled out at every Royal Variety Performance to watch scantily clad dancers and s**tty comedians."
The 24-year-old performer also told the magazine that she never gets chatted up by men.

Charlotte Church 'has secret sushi diet'
Charlotte Church has reportedly been on a sushi diet to help her achieve her target weight of 8 stone.
The singer has been seeking advice from Cardiff sushi chef Jacky Tiong, who has been telling her how to prepare her low-fat meals at home.
Toing told Now: "Charlotte first came in a couple of months ago. She said she'd spent too much time and money eating junk food.
"She said to me, 'I guess you can't get healthier than raw fish, rice and seaweed'. She loves pickled salmon, so I told her how to make it herself."
Church is now thought to be getting her life back on track.
A friend added: "Everything is falling into place at the moment. She loves how much weight she's lost and she's hoping the publicity she'll get for her waistline will translate into album sales."
